Thursday 22nd September saw the 12th annual House Beautiful Awards which was held at the British Film Institute.
The ceremonial awards was hosted by TV favourite and ‘Love your garden’ presenter David Domoney. Also in attendance were a number of celebrities such as TV Builder, Tommy Walsh, ‘DIY SOS’ presenter, Nick Knowles and designer John Rocha who all played a key role in judging and presenting the different categories.
The Eton Light Gloss Grey range from Benchmarx Kitchens and Joinery, was one of the worthy finalists shortlisted in the ‘Best Value Kitchen’ category along with Soho Matt Dove Grey also making the cut. This was a fantastic result, as they were the only business in this category to have multiple kitchens make it to the final.
The ‘Best Value Kitchen’ category was judged by Ian Henderson- winner of ‘Heavenly Builder of the Year’ at the 12th Federation of Master Builders' (FMB), Master Builder of the Year Awards in 2015. He opened the silver envelope and announced the Eton Light Gloss Grey had come in at a worthy second place. This is the first award Benchmarx Kitchens and Joinery have received, great news considering they are a fairly new company and have only recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary. Congratulations to Fitzroy kitchen from Second Nature who bagged the gold award.
Many thanks to House Beautiful for hosting this incredible awards ceremony and congratulations to Benchmarx Kitchens and Joinery. Here’s to many more awards in the future!
